Tom is at the helm of the Blue Origin kitchen. He sets the restaurant’s fine culinary standard. A fillet steak with fries is the dish that will always make his mouth water… When Tom isn’t hard at work over a hot stove, he likes to enjoy a good film at the cinema.
Fact: ‘You’ve got a no; you can get a yes’ is the motto that Tom lives by, which is to say that you can’t achieve anything without trying.
Trees makes sure our service is always as smooth as possible. You can always come to her with your questions. Since she loves going to restaurants herself, her job is actually an extension of her hobby. But… chicory and ham gratin, the Belgian classic, is still her all-time favourite dish.
Fact: She loves travelling to far-flung places. Sri Lanka is still on her bucket list.
Luc completes the BBO team. He deals with service down to the finest detail, making sure everything goes to plan. He keeps his cool when the going gets tough and knows how to put everyone at their ease. So he’s a man you can trust. He can’t resist a rib-eye steak béarnaise.
Fact: He loves watching sports on the television: football, swimming, equestrian sports… he even likes watching gymnastics.
Supha works at Bistro Blue Origin as a room employee. She ensures that everything runs as desired for the customers.
David helps our chef Tom as a sous chef.
Ilse is an assistant cook.
